you could look into doing a real suspension with Ground controls and Koni's. If you do ever turbo it, you'll want the a better suspension to help get more power to the ground.

I would love to do that but you talking about 600-700$ at least. Im holding off with Turbo or NoS cause money is tight. For that money i would go with NoS myself. With that i can probaly go cheaper. I have coil overs on my car now. I dont scrap or rub tires, dont bump my exhaust on speed bumps. I get good traction now with 16" and a 3/4" drop all around. Im thinking more of performance mods, but i will probaly do suspension and clutch right after turbo.

Yes but Arospeed sleeves are the biggest crap ever produced. they will fall apart soon. Spend the money now or spend it later. Once you start making power you will look like a jackass wheel hopping all over the place. besides, a good throttle body alone is like $500.00.

when you are the strip and shift into second you notice that big dip your rear end does, and your front end comes up. yeah that slows you down. now notice your stock honda motor does that. just imagine what'll happen when you boost it. it'll be much worse. yeah you'll still a decent time with your boost, but you'll run a better time with good suspension.

having lower 60 foot times, better trap speeds, and a better 1/4 mile isn't a performance mod i don't know what is...

in the end it is your $
and red civic is right. my 70mm tb was upwards of $400, and the add another $280 for an intake manifold.

Yea, writing off suspension as a non-performance mod is horribly wrong.

Suspension is everything; almost. Soon I will have Skunk2 drag springs on the street. Suspension=Performance
<-- Eibach 450f/550r springs on Skunk2 sleeves, KONI yellows front, KYB AGX rear

You could get motor mount inserts from Prothane or ES. If you don't have money, then don't think about turbo. Trust me ... you think you can buy just a kit and that's it? You need a whole lot more ...

I was waiting for a friend to sell me his kit. Suspension is not a option right now. Reason being that 1- My car has 14k miles new from the dealer. I remove my stock shocks and struts and bye bye warrenty. 2- money, for the money i would drop a 50shot. Im looking into little more performance mods as in just a little kick in. Right now, since most of my car is covered, i trying to get away with bolt ons. I will most likely get new shock and struts after my stock stuff dies. I only have 7k miles on my coil overs and they work PERfectly. I dont notice my tires ever hopping, nor does my front up tilt up much on acceleration.

Also noticed, a friend around my area has a 99 civic EX with Koni's and Nuespeed springs. I notice his car doesnt like bumps or most of the time he hits bumps, it sends the car straight up. He is alot lower then mine, but mine has never bottemed out. Both are pretty much brand new and has very few miles on them. Is this what i have to look forward to?
