I wish there was a way that we could make the 5th gen headlights lens look like the 6th gens. I mean w/o all that weird reflective design on the lens and just see right through it.

actually there is a way, go tried to find a cheap set of angel eyes, pop the lenses off there and slap em on the stock lights. voila. a member on htech did just that, took his stock 5 housings and put the clear angel eye lense on and hook up some hids. looks nice.

the other alternative is to get jdm headlamps. the nippleless lense do look a million times better then the usdm ones. i have em, looks dope.

i was gonna do that black housing too, looks kewl. good work.

I almost did this cause I had an extra set of projections, but you have to buy the right kind of projectors. Mine had vertical lines that bordered the projector and the hi-beam section so it would have looked stupid. You'd have to get the glass that is totally clear, but it could be done.

whoa that sounds like i great idea , luckily i have the angel eyes projectors on my car right now , about to rip apart those and try to put it on the oems and see how they look :thumbup:

looks good i did that on my friends hatch, but we painted a little bit more black. we also opened up the clear corners, painted them black, and stuck the factory amber bulb reflector in it
