i have an eg (92-95) hatchback. Its about time for the car as the engine is wearing down and stuff. It's an si. would you guys swap out the motor and get a b18c1 or sell it and get a gsr? say the motor would be 3500 installed or i can sell my hatch for 5,000 and get a gsr for 8,500? which path would you guys go? keep in mind i already have exterior mods and suspension on my hatch already.

mod for mod, the hatch with the b18c1 engine will outrun the gsr

 

yea, i know the hatch should outrun a gsr easily with a gsr motor in it. but its just that ppl tell me why dont i just straight up get a gsr instead of swapping it, cuz my hatch is old and stuff. anyways, i would rather prefer sticking with my hatch cuz it will be faster. any other opinions? for the same price, would you swap or get another car?

 

I vote for hatch + GSR because you will be faster and also you save the trouble of looking for another car and selling yours.

I personally would do an LS/turbo for that money though

btw, I think I still see your hatch around SF sometimes.

It's worth it IMO.. new car, look, engine (well kinda haha) and interior.. blahblahblah.
