get a gsr swap or get a gsr?

I was kinda of in the same boat. I have my Civic which I enjoy driving but wanted more power. Do I spend $4000 and risk having a smog illegal swap or just sell the civic for a GSR? After checking things out I figured the GSR was a better deal. Personally I wanted to know that the swap was 100% street legal and around my area the police will get you for any smog problem. If you Civic has high miles there is really no fix for the squeaks and rattles of a worn chassis. Also the bucket leather seats were nice!
Downside is the GSR's are stolen alot and insurance is pretty high. That's the main reason I haven't sold my Civic yet.

Dude, make sure you get a certified IMPORTED B18C1, or one from a wrecked GS-R. It's people like you who make me nervous about parking my car anywhere except home and work! Let's not continue supporting the theft 'industry'.
