Default fuelpump?

When my tank is low and the car is cold I have to crank longer than usual for
my car to start (98 cx) I put in a used pump awhile ago hoping to solve another problem I was having so I don't know it's age. The pump I replaced had 450,000 on it so I figured there was a good chance I was upgrading.
Any suggestions on trouble shooting? Thanks.
Currently have 507,000+ on car.

Whats longer than usual? I know when my tank is low on my 93 civic it takes two to three more cranks to start. If you have low fuel chances are your not quite getting full flow and its normal.

This morning it took 7 cranks and the tank is over half full but it was about 60 degrees. This afternoon when the car was hot and it was 80 it fired right up.
I just don't want to get stuck. Maybe it's not fuel related but when the tank is low it always cranks 7 or 8 times.

try replacing your fuel filter and cleaning your injectors with some carb cleaner. Those should both help. Mine usually cranks about 4 times when its cold but sometimes less.

check your distributor cap and rotor and clean/replace. I've seen a dirty cap cause the same problem.
