Default black housing headlights

i did a quick search and wasnt able to find what i was looking for. i'm interested in a pair of black housing headlights and wanted to know if there were any websites that sold them.

thinking about buying some stocks off ebay and painting them myself.

i did see that apc makes some black housing...i'm not a fan of apc...especially their damn banners and stickers all the ricers put all over their cars, but are they a nice quality looking product, good fit, etc.?

thanks in advance.

Does the bumper have to be pulled of in order to get the headlights off?

yeah, you'll need to take your front bumper off to take the headlights out, then put them in the oven for about 10 mins at 200 degrees, pull them apart and paint then use window re-sealent to put them back together so they won't leak

My buddy did his RSX-S light. I think that I can find you a couple DIY's for you, or if that is the route that you decide to go, post it in our DIY forum.

I'm hesitant on putting something APC on my car because everything on it (jackson racing, dc sport, eibach, greddy, tokico, apexi, etc etc.) is top of the line, high quality, and clean....

Because everything on my car has been well researched and of quality I should automatically go for the jdm ctr's...but i thought i read they were really expensive compared to diy or apc. if i remember right i heard $250 per headlight....is this in the ball park. i definately dont want to spend that kind of money. i've pretty well maxed the engine out (without rebuild) and i dont want to put anymore money into her. i've been saving so i can mod my next car (2002 wrx...coming this summer hopefully).

so pretty much i want to do it, it'll look good with the silver/black theme i have going, i dont want to spend over $100 - $150 doing it though.

quality and clean is crucial, anymore suggestions.
