oc-civic....

how dark are the apc's...they look good but compared to the other black on your car the housing looks kinda weak?

i want the black to definatly match up to my lip and grill pieces. i'm going to search for a close up of the apc's...i'm guessing they have a website. i'm proud to admit i havent ever been to it

well once...i was looking for one of those sweet l.e.d. exhausts...

Because everything on my car has been well researched and of quality I should automatically go for the jdm ctr's...but i thought i read they were really expensive compared to diy or apc. if i remember right i heard $250 per headlight....is this in the ball park. i definately dont want to spend that kind of money. i've pretty well maxed the engine out (without rebuild) and i dont want to put anymore money into her. i've been saving so i can mod my next car (2002 wrx...coming this summer hopefully).

so pretty much i want to do it, it'll look good with the silver/black theme i have going, i dont want to spend over $100 - $150 doing it though.

quality and clean is crucial, anymore suggestions.
you want REAL advice.. DONT TOUCH EM till you can afford the real deal... they are around 400 for the set, and WELL worth it.. they are NOT black.. they are gunmetal with smoked lense.. they are like nothing else.. i would wait.. or buy mine.. lol

haha

"whatever you do, dont touch them pieces of **** APC's....well unless you want to buy mine"

i would be willing to put another $400 into it, not a big deal, but in the last couple weeks i think i've finally talked myself into buying a nx express kit and trying to squeeze a 35 shot through 3rd and higher gears, researching to make sure it can handle it.

the car is in storage for the winter and i'm getting the itch for winter to be over and i'm starting to buy stuff in anticipation for the day i can bring her back out on the street.

the things i'd like to buy even though i told myself no more...wait for the suby wrx:

1. new front lip....carbon fiber or oem............. $100+
2. new grill (current has sun damage
on a corner) mugen or oem...........................$100+
3. hyperwhite head and foglight bulbs..............$50
4. nx express kit (35 shot).................................$400

so thats a total of $650 more into it after saying not a penny more, so i'd much rather add another $100 or less onto that total than $400 for the ctr's (which are sweet).....

then again i am going to keep it for a daily driver even after i get the suby......ahh you sons of bIches are getting me to consider the ctr's........tell me NO.....stay focused on ugraded turbos, awd, bov's, fmic, a beautiful 12 second suby.....no more civic spending......why cant i stop......................

APC, thats why paint is better, its also MUCH cheaper, and you can make it how ever you want it, personally i dont like black housing headlights unless the crome bulb housing is also tinted, then it looks really nice.

Default Painting the lights

I was looking into black-housings as well, but think I might just paint 'em to save some money.

Curious, what kind of paint do you use to make sure it goes on clean?
