Surprisingly there IS a difference between el cheapo and the good stuff. El cheapo coilovers use cheap springs that sag over time, perches that might strip over time, and quality control is very low in general. Plus you will get NO help whatsoever from the companies if anything goes wrong, where as Ground Control and Skunk2 will stand behind their products.

Here is what I noticed with the Dual spring design. When the car is at normal ride height (for winter) it rides almost like stock. But when it is lowered the top spring gives and tightens the suspension up. It seems great now, but I will have to see again is spring when we have the 17s on it.
