Default couple 98 civic ex issues!!!

hi, i have a 98 civic ex coupe, just had a major service at honda. its like -30 degrees outside. Today i was driving to school, and i drove down the heated underground parkard, left the car for about couple hours, then when i start up the car, the idle was like the car is about to stall then idle jumps up, i barely need to turn the key, i just turn the key, and it starts up weirly. it starts ok when i just park it outside, but when its heated parkard, it starts not normal, doesn't sound normal. Honda said its might be the map senor the the ATV sensor. can anybody help?

this also happened today too, while driving home, when i step on the clutch, the clutch isn't jumping back up fast, its flex back slowly. but then it was ok after a 15mins drive, then it happened again lately today, clutch is ok and then suddenly the clutch flex back slowly. can anybody help?

Thanks you!!

what did you get done with the service? and about the clutch bleed it out, maybe you got some air in the line...its really easy just like your bleeding the brakes. 2 person job though.

You know ... that clutch thing happened to me too last night. It was fuking weird. I did bleed the clutch recently though ... but it was fine until it got cold around here.

You must be in MN or WI (I'm in WI and I had the clutch thing happen, too).

What it is I believe, is that the clutch fluid gets viscous and hence the slow movement. Once the engine warms up (and heats up the clutch fluid) it loosens up.

Sounds more like you are getting a moisture build up from going from the cold to the hot parkard. It's just like when you walk in from outside and and your glasses fog up. Try parking outside at school for the day to see if it changes things.
