Hey

My 92 Civic Hatch has been sitting for the past 18 months. Now that I have it back on the road, there are many squeaky noises.

My steering wheal has a whining sound

My rear passenger side strut or spring as a huge squeak.

How can I make my car quite again?

Also there is a lot more rust sinking in.

While my car was off the road, my stereo got jacked from it, along with the hard plastic trim around the cc, and stereo area. My drivier side door panel was snaped in two.

The thieves entered the vehicle, by prying the passenger side door handle housing from the door frame creating a space to unlock the door.


Its a mess.
Any help would be greatly aprecciated.

a new car?

age does that to them. My 1990 accord squeeked more than a mouse getting boofed

 

Seems like the more mods I do to my suspension, the more it squeaks.

You can always benefit from a new set of struts. That may fix the RR squeak.

As for the whining sound, is it the actual steering wheel or is the sound coming more from the engine bay? If it's from the bay, it's probably your power steering pump. Make sure the fluids are all at their correct level and get a manual so that you can bleed the steering fluid lines.

A new car is not possible, unfortunatly. So, I am stuck making the best of what I got. Which isn't bad, cause I love my white little hatch.

 

I would start out with a new set of shocks. If you don't plan on lowering your car, I would just go ahead and buy a set of stock springs/shocks off of somebody for a cheap price.

 

I still have my stockies... I don't know how good they are, but I'll sell them for cheap... PM me or something.

 

My wheel sweaks when I turn it too. It's an interior thing, think the wheel needs some grease.

 

Might be the tires rubbing on the road.. you may need to grease those too..

:rofl: Don't for get to buy JDM OEM Honda tire grease for best performance! That Kragen crap just doesn't cut it

 

I sprayed Rust Inhibitor spray on the back springs, and the squeeks are all gone now!
