Mmmmm I'd rather not cut any wires and add another other switches. I already did that with my fuel pump, and the 30amp switch failed in a few short months.

o well, you already know the solution. just dchange the switch or whatever is pushing that switch is either worn out or out of adjustment.
or, just make another switch.

so whats the update on this?

i think you will end up doing another switch. im a mechanic and i got a hunch that your reverse switch which is sticking is inside your transaxle tied up to the reverse idler gear.
so if this is the case, are u willing to take apart your transaxle and change the switch?
or maybe take it to a shop and get charge god knows how much or just buy the nicest switch (carbon fiber) and just do the dew.

You dont have to take the trans apart to remove the reverse switch. It bolts to the outside. Just Pull it out and see if it moves when you push it it, if it doesn't or its stuck in the "in" postion then you need a new switch.
