New Motor time. Which one? HELP!

Crucial Si--- I knew you'd find your way in here and post some smart ass remark about something
Inspyral--- I decided. What you said is my goal. You seem to be the one with the motor "smarts" around here and I assume you know what your talking about.
Everyone else--- Thanks! I think I'll save for a GSR. If my D16 blows before I have enough $ for a GSR, then I'll go B16.

Now, if I can't afford a GSR, and would get a b16, which b16 model would be best for me? B16a, b16a1, b16a2 etc.........
Would the 99-00 Si be good? That's the B16c, right? I could get one of those from a junkyard or something!

I run 13's. It's easy with the right set-up. Oh, and **** a B18C, I hate when people make the B18C out to such a better motor than the B16A or B18B1. The B16A is better for a few reasons and the B18B1 is a gem of simplicity in my book. Don't get me started. I am plan on being in the 12's by summer. It's a traction issue not a power one. But if the D16Z6 is so new then just boost that. With the right build-up a D16Z6 can handle way more than enough to run 13's. I know a D16 powered boosted CRX that runs high 10's. Izi was running 10's with a 1.5L and so was IMPO. I will build a D16Z6 next or a B18C (only because I got it dirt cheap).

One of the mods told me I would need some serious suspension tuning and the rear sway bar would have to be thick as hell, other than that, it would be possible. Plus I hear the H22/Civic axles are a pain in the ass and unreliable, whatever they are...

You can do it on any of the motors you have listed. If you want to save the most money just buy an LS or b20 and boost it. Id buy an LS before I bought a b16. Lots of local guys running good times with an LS. One guy ran 12.6 on the bottle and 13.6 with cams. Was a strong LS
