Yep fouled O2 sensor, can wear out your catalytic converter quicker, and you use more fuel so your wallet gets lighter.

Cat's outa the bag, yes I did reside there until recently. Unfortunately the "scene" there is nothing but uncle bens with a few scattered gems here and there car wise. A bunch of idiots hang out at the local mall on Thurs. nights (had to go atleast once) and do nothing but talf smack. I asked around regarding performance shops and more than one group recommended me to XXX (shop name remains confidential to protect the stupid). When I walked in the entire place was nothing but stereo equipment. I asked the guy at the counter if they did performance parts and he hands me acouple of catalogs. The top one was from APC! I handed them back, said "No thanks", and laughed my ass off all the way out the door. I am keeping my location the same to keep some of the thieves away. I know this won't guarantee me against theft, but combined with being parked in a garage when not in use, having no less than three different fuel pump/starter interrupt switches tucked away, an autoloc, and a daily beater will pretty much reduce my chances of theft to nil/virtually non-existant.

I like to think I'm one of the scattered Gems I'm the next HAN ROTW, so you'll see some differences when I get published.

How much did the color change/bodywork run you? How straight was the car to begin with? Im stupified and mezmorized by that Electron Blue masterpiece.

I completely stripped the car myself.... inside and out. hauled the shell to the body shop and paid $2,000 for the job, some minor body work included. I've scratched up my engine bay some with the MANY setups I've had.

how much did u pay for your 2 liter? do u still run on pump gas or do u run on 111 octane? just wanna ask because my friend got his 2 liter and he has to run on 111 octane.... when he runs on 100 octane it detonates

that would have to do more with the compression ratio or even the overall quality of the build. if particulates get caught in the combustion chamber while still glowing that can cause pre detonation. if your compression ratio is mad high, then using regular gas can cause it to detonate as well.
