Im not here about the topic but, to question WideBodyEk. What do you care about 95EXSedan's post? Is that post preventing you from paying the bills or is it irritating to see that someone has a sence of humor and not you?

I appreciate the help guys. I do ask because I would like to add some kind of a decent stereo system and would not want to worry about draining the battery. I was just looking for something that can handle extra electrical accessories and last long. Weight of the battery is not really a concern.

Optima makes several different sizes, i know one of them fits. Go with a yellow cap, the red caps are designed for large stereo applications.

i forgot to read this. If your going to go with a stereo over 1000watts, you might want to consider getting a optima yellow cap for the car and a optima red cap for the stereo. The yellow cap works as a normal battery but runs better. The red cap is designed to take serious abuse and prevent your lights from dimming during bass hits. Unfortunatly, the red cap will only live 1/2 as long as the yellow cap. Just link the yellow cap to the red cap, your alternator will handle it. peace. :naughty:
