Power Antenna question for the Amp?
I was wanting to know if by doing this would it harm anything cause the Ex Civic has no power antenna and im still using the stock radio. Also what wire behind the dash is the ignition wire that I must find to connect to and if there is a simular wire for the same task then please tell me thanks.

I believe there is already a wire in the trunk for it... I remember someone saying that about a del sol, so I'd assume it would eb the same. If it weren't so bloody cold outside, I'd go check for my own curiosity.

I have a cd change and the wire that goes to the cd changer itself from the radio would be a good wire to use but i would have to split it open. Id rather find somthing in the frot to use. This is goign to be a pain in the ass cause i don't know what to look for.

lucky for you I have an extra Honda wire harness.
I'm looking at the stock deck (this is an 96-00 deck, btw, but should be universal with all honda's).
There's the main plug in the middle of the unit. There's a total of 12 prongs in it. 4 on the top left, 4 on the top right, 3 on the bottom left, 2 in the bottom middle, and 3 on the bottom right.
the remote power (or power antenna. whatever) is on the top right grouping of prongs, 3rd prong from the left.
now for some ascii grafix
imagine you're looking at the back of the deck.
o o o o o R o o
o o o | o o | o o o
see the R? thats the remote antenna connection.
sorry, I wish I had a digi cam

Instead what is better is to use the yellow wire with a red stripe which is the ignition wire. By using that the amp will go on when the ignition is engaged and off when disengaged. The power antena wire oppening has no wire so inorder to use that you would have to buy a connector to fit the hole and go from there. I instead split the ignition and combined it with the remote of the amp.
