brake light not working

Default brake light not working

i have a civic 95 and most of the times the brake light arent working
i check for loosen wires but everything look good
the parkings light and the flashers are working ... only the brake light(3)

any hint or something else plz

Check your bulb contact make sure its clean. Also check your fuses and relays and make sure they are good. If its not any of that then look into getting the plastice piece that the bulb sits in replaced cause the wire connections are probably loose.

is it all brake bulbs not working or just one bulb. if all of them are out, check brake switch behind brake pedal

yes its all the brake lights not only the center light
i would say they are working 1/8
but most of the time its not working ...
i checked behind the pedal and seem to be OK..

If fuses are fine and you cant find a loose connection or a short, I would replace the switch at the brake pedal, since its relatively inexpensive (~$10) and see where that takes you.

i think that switch is sticking in the off position thats why there are times that it works and most of the times doesn't

how exactly did you check behind the pedal and it seem to be ok?

bad brake light switch on the brake pedal is more than likely the problem.

yeah i checked before and the switch was looking very good..
im gonna double check back tomorrow..in 30 cm of snow with -25°

what do you mean "looking good" You don't test a component by looking at it.
