Default Ground Control

For people who own this or any other brand. My main concern is the tread being worn out really fast. I know you should purchase a camber kit but what's the use of a camber kit if you get the car alligned with the camber kit and then you slam it later. Isn't this going to go out of factory specs anyway? I mean if u use the ground control at maybe a 1.5 drop then likely u don't have to use a camber kit. But if you decide to drop it more then chances are, camber kit becomes a neccessity. I want to get ground controls but i do not want to get a camber kit.
I want to drop it about maybe 1.5-1.7 all around for daily use and sometimes slam it for a maybe a week or less just for show and then rise it back up to 1.5-1.7. If this is how I'm going to use the ground controls will my tire wear be ok?
I still don't understand what's the use of getting your car alligned with coilovers.
Someone please clarify, thanks.

every time you change your ride height the toe changes.

honda civics were designed with this feature adjustable straight from the factory.

when i got lowered on h&r sports my toe went out of factory specs. an allignment fixed this right up.

i dont use a camber kit, i've driven for 5k miles and everything is fine so far. . . . .

i have GC coilovers, im not to sure how far im dropped, i have a black widow kit and the sides are about 1.5 - 2 inches from the ground. i am in major need of a camber kit. ive had my rims with new tires on about 3 months and ive about destoyed my tires, the inside has no tread ledt at all. im not even putting my rims back on until i get a camber kit. my steelies arent bad because the tire is more rounded nad it really doesnt matter if the tire is slanted.

If you get your car aligned, check the camber results on the spec sheet. Someone told me, I'm not exactly sure if this is correct or not, but if you have a drop and are more than +/- 1 out of alignment specs then you need a camber kit.

For example, say the spec from factory is 0, if you have more than +1 or less than -1 then you need a camber kit.

I have the Skunk2 co kit and have had it for about a year and a half. My threads are perfect and I really like the kit. I think it's better for performance than GC, but that's jmo.

I have ground controls. I lowered the front about 1.25" and the rear about 1" and then got an allignment to correct everything. When I autox, I lower the front about another .75" for better front traction. My tires have held up fine, and my alignment shop said they'd have no problem correcting camber and toe with a 1.5" drop(or even a little more)
