Hahah. Well... it's not like I'm avoiding it. I fully intend to make it there. I haven't had a vacation in over a year. HAN's favorite powder coater has several of my engine parts and all 4 brakes. I was just busting his chops purely for self-serving reasons with that comment. Tony's a hell of a guy for taking in more work while his hands are already this full.

But I suppose I could work around those parts... I could bypass my coolant system and run every red light and toll. Just fill Tony's driveway about 2' deep with sand so I'll be able to stop when I arrive. Then we could save the time and expense of shipping by just installing everything once I get there!

Here's what I saw at the last meAT. This is as close of a race as anyone could ask for. I can't wait to see what the hatch does.

If you drop coolant on Tony's drive just consider it payback for the oil on your drive last year

Oh yeah, my friend Rob(with the del sol) is down for a meAt.

Oil from Turbo Tony's BEAST or from my transmission? After all the steel I've cut up and welded together since then, my driveway is actually starting to rust now.

Good times. Expensive, yet still very good times. If we do a gathering at my crib next year, rest assured my tool collection has expanded exponentially.

Before a meAt, y-know how everyone is scrambling to get their cars straight? Is this hatch supposed to be running at the meAt? You're not putting the BEAST in that thing are you?

I finally had a chance to tear my driver's seat apart and see what was broken. Crap welds on stamped 28 gauge steel broke loose and tore the seat bracket in half. I reinforced it all with 14 gauge and welded it back to the frame. I'm glad I have a MIG. I just saved myself $600 on a new set of RECAROs for the time being. It cost me $0 because I had all the materials laying around. I can recline again. I can pass inspection again. It's a relief to have it done, but with a month left I'm in scramble-mode.

the hatch was just a money maker project, it's sold to a guy in Michigan before i even painted it. He'll be coming to pick it up soon.

the video that jafro posted was a sad display of performance! My car went 12.6 with that setup!

Unfortunatly i took my car to the road course yesterday and blew the motor again. I'm getting pretty sick of this crap!

Anyways, Jafro, i'll be working on your stuff again tonight as soon as i'm done cutting the grass that's out of control! I hope to be shipping things back to you by the end of the week. Things have been insanly crazy around here. Meet is still on for Oct. 2-4th

Oh doood, I wasn't trying to use a HAN thread to air anything out about the parts. Do whatcha gotta do. But since you brought it up, PM me what I need to send you.

I just didn't know the story of the civic, and was curious to see what it was all about. I'm sorta both happy and sad about that. Happy because you made some $, but sad that I won't get to see another Tony classic run. I know you can turn a car around in a week when you get super-motivated, so I'm not worried. My coil-on-plug stuff came in today, so I have plenty to do to keep me busy for now. I'm sure that stuff you're working on will show up LONG before my accessory pulleys do.

...& that race was balls. You won by .002. A nail biter. Guy in the F-body was all like... WTF?!?!!? I know 'cause I talked to him after the race. Both he and the Corvette dude lost a chunk of their egos back-to-back. Even if you feel like it was not so great, you won, and they don't get any closer than that. Well... except for .001 maybe. Or a tie. But you know what I'm saying.

& oh yeah... Patrick's question... ??? Gee to tha Dee. and a M to tha F! I know it's not a hole in the block, but wtf?
