looking good. Belive it or not those subframe bolts are usally easy to get out. There not a big space for water to get in the holes. Did you prime the outside or was it like that when you bought it? So did you pull the brake lines when you sprayed bombed the bay or do you just spray over them. I have been thinking about doing mine. This is going to be a clean ass hatch.

ehh either way.. i just don't wanna get into changing the subframe, i'll be fabing a bracket tonight.

i left the brake lines sprayed over them. I didn't feel the need to remove them all. i've got enough effort going into this thing & it's just gonna be a murdered out daily so it doesn't have to be perfect.

maybe one day.. for now it needs to run and drive on it's own.

i'm probably gonna end up with an sc61 in the other car so it will be capable of near 600ish that will be plenty for 10's When i feel the need to go faster then we'll figure something else out.

for now the hatch will be a daily driver with a d16z6 that will probably end up boosted as phase two.

Wednesday nights update:

alright guys, i got some more work done tonight. got a late start coz i was starvin when i got home from work so i had to go find some food. Still got a lot done tho.
Started off by making that steering rack mount.. had to run to handy man & get some bolts & crap. I had the metal layin around. It's all boxed in & what not. not a very good pic but here ya go.

After that was done, i started looking over all the engine components & laughed pretty hard when i saw this. IDK why this was fixed like this but it was.. i will call him frank!

After giving everything a once over and seeing that there wasn't anything else holding me back in the engine bay, i got to business. Tonight's ending looked like this.

It's almost there, a little more work and i'll be able to fire it up.

Had no spark due to cut dizzy wire. plugs were fouled ..
