So i finished breaking in my ACT HDSS clutch today and took it to the 1/8 mile. The first couple of runs were just AWFUL, the clutch gripped really hard/fast and i was pulling like 2.7 60 foots with all the wheel hop in the world. I let some more air out of my tires and revved up to only 3000 rpms letting the clutch out and then stepping on the gas only 3/4 throttle easing into the launch. I got better results and ended up with a 9.52 @ 73.9 with a 2.27 60 foot (which can DEFINETELY get better with the new clutch) and a 9.54@ 73.25 with a 2.26 60 foot. Both times i had run 4-5 times previously and my car was starting to heat soak. With a 2.1 60 foot and some cooldown times i should be able to break 9.4X with 5.5 pounds.
