chances are though, roads in Ohio aren't that great since they get a lot of snow...so anything more than that might be a pain in the ass in the winter.

The drop is actually closer to 2" and says 1.9" on Tein's website. It used to say 1.5" but since they're on my Si, I can say that they are NOT 1.5" and are more like 2". The front and rear drop are very even, leaving little to no finger gaps at all between the tires and the fender. However, my only criticism is that the rears are too soft. Had I known what I know now, I would not have bought them. I want it stiffer in the rear because when there's stuff int the trunk or 1 or 2 people riding in the back, it sinks pretty low...

i was considering them a while back when shopping for springs. their prices are very competitive. however when i talked to a tech representative

he said the drop would be 1.6" in the front and 1.1" in the back. and that the springs were designed for the EK chasis equipped with the b16, not the d16 which would be out soon.

so i looked elsewhere for springs

The reason I bought them was for the quoted 1.6" drop which was what they advertised them as prior to actually realizing that the drop was more than that..... But since the non-b16 equipped Civics are lighter under the hood, maybe the drop will be less and around the old published height...

yea thats what i was worried about since they quoted a 1.6 drop for the b16 i didn't want it to ride any higher for my d16 or have the spring rates all different.

maybe by the EK chasis they meant ek hatches? and with your si coupe weighing more that might be why you dropped so low . . .?
