And to clean it for the last time. I filled it in with fiberglas. I used bondo to smooth it all out. I used the bondo just like you did slick, I used bondo the way it's suppose to be used to smoothen out the body work you did. I think that should clear it up for you. If you wanna sit there, and hope my bodywork cracks well the more power to you, but it's been over a year, and no problems.

Maybe I can send you a can of bondo and you can fix up that

my wing sits fine now, its just a "temporary" until i find a c/f one for a decent price....sorry it isnt JayDEeeM. i cant be as cool as you.
are you gonna skin the door w/ bondo b4 you paint it so you dont have any waves? even if you cant see it, or even feel it, it something isnt smooth, it will show through the paint 10x worse when the clear coat goes on.

body work will be 95% done by me. i put new door skins on, so i haven't any dents or anything.

if my bodywork needs to fixed in some places which it will need to be, my bodyshop guy will get the car inorder before he starts taking it part for paint.

as for seeing errors i'm using primer. you get to see your faults when you put down the primer.

how much where the doorskins and how hard where they to change?

i used primer aswell, and i missed about 5% of the dings/outlines of bondo on my car...im pretty pissed about that but i cant do anything about that now. im gonna be doing a better job on my girls car which i hope to be painted by march of next year, gotta do alot more work for a color change. even w/ primer, like i said b4 you you can see it w/ the primer it will show up ALOT worse w/ paint on it...

i think $200 a piece, and tack welded. $400 a side.

thanks to my insurance 85% of my body has been replaced. i'm replacing the tail gate before i get it painted, and i might put a new roof on depending on how much dings i spot when prepping the car. if i do a new roof. i'm ditchin the sunroof.

how the fawk would you go about getting rid of a sunroof and putting a new roof on a car? that seems to be a shiit load and a half of time. even if you ditch the sunroof, isnt the the frame still gonna be heavy b/c of difference in structure?

if you take off your rain gutters you see welds. that's where the roof and the sides of the car are welded together. you leave those thing alone. cut off the roof for everything before you reach those welds. and then weld on a new roof... fairly common practice.

what differences in structure? same roof as dx or whatnot, just a hole for the moon roof. and everything else for the moonroof is bolted to the roof. you can unbolt your moon roof if you want. not hard. i look at it everyday.
