I have the Falken ZE 512's (sized 205/50/15's) and I like them. It's a nice grippy daily driver tire with a treadwear of 300.

I second that...they're great tires for the money and they last alittle while longer from the experience I've had with them.

Yokohama AVS ES100's have a sidewall stiffening metal beam inside of it. 1) To protect against curbing yoru rim and 2) stiffening up the sidewall.

but i'd be too ashamed to put those low-buck tires on such a gorgeous rims like mugens. . . . .if i were u i'd go for some bridgestones or pirellis and just add to the sexiness of the rims

The only thing I can complain about is the Kumho 712s need to be driven differently in the rain than in the dry. The 712s loose traction if you don't keep on the brakes long and dive deeper into a corner before getting on the gas.

But for the best traction I would go with Falken Azenis Sport Ran them the whole year for autocross and they are awesome tires

Here's my list of good performance tires:

BFG KDs
Falken Azenis Sports
Kumho 712s
Yokohama ES100
Yokohama A520 (noisey as they wear down)
Toyo T1S
