Hood pins

Hood Pins are incase your hood flys up if you have CF or FG Hoods. You usually leave your hood latch on there unless you have a hardcore race car. You can get hood locks which are pins with locks.

u use the pins just to keep the hood down when drivin just incase it will fly up cuz yeah the cf or fg...but u still use ur latch.. i recommend them only if u have a aftermarket hood, otherwise it'll just look funny hehe. but yeah good investment.

I think his question was, without the latch and just pins, anyone can pop your hood and **** around with whats under.

Someone tried that at the garage at school, obvously thinking I wasn't using my stock hoodlatch. I can back and noticed my hoodpin clips were gone. I assume they wanted to sneek a peak, unless they liked my torsion clips that much.

I remember back in the day (1997) my friend and I went to a car show and he wasn't using hood pins. ANd on our way back his hood flew open and smashed his windshield. SCARY!
