Default Autometer Oil Press. Gauge ?

Just got my oil pressure gauge in the mail and it came with a sending unit. It screws into the block somewhere.. does anyone know where? I don't have my car here at home so I can't look around on it. Has anyone installed this gauge?

Thanks!

I haven't installed it yet (mine is a Nordskog digital led gauge) but I know where it goes. Mine is going to be tapped off from thr oil pressure sensor. It is directly above the oil filter and is used for oil feed for turbos.

So, I have to tap the block for it?

No, the STOCK oil pressure sensor is already tapped into the block above the filter. I'm not sure how you're going to do it ... maybe run a tee off of it.

Let me get a picture ...

I was actually just searching for a "T" fitting.

I'll have to get my car back and take the oil pressure sending unit with me so I get the right one. I know what you're talking about though.

Thanks man!

I will if I remember. Good point.
I'll try to take some 'how to' pics too.

not to get off topic, but my buddy was having this problem with his rex on a light day, we did finally find a post but when the person cured their car (it was laurel, back when she still had Barney) she never posted the cure. exact same symptoms, but no cure. very frustrating.
