I was wondering what do you use to take off the emblem on the rear of a 96 honda civic??? Also, what do you use to put on a new emblem??? Thanks!

 

What emblem are you talking about...the "Civic" or the "H"?? The civic emblem comes off with a little dental floss and some alcohol/bug&tar remover/goo gone. The H is actually attached to the car, and if you remove it, you'll have two holes in your trunklid

 

I am talking about the "H", Where are the holes located?? I should be able to cover it up with the new emblem. Also what would I use to put on the new emblem??

 

Your new emblem will most likely come with double sided adhesive stuck to its backside.

When I was in high school mine got stolen. I realize now he did me a favor. But yea, your new emblem should come with double sided tape.

 

I just got done doing it, I took a pair of needle nose pliers and just yanked it off, and the new emblem came in today with double sided adhesive.
