Hi everyone...I've been on here for a long time, but first time signing up and posting...Just want to get a topics started...

Post your 1/4 miles time, engine setup, and year del sol. and weight if you have it...I'll go first

1995 del sol s with ls/vtec motor
r/t = .569
60' = 2.39 (stock clutch)
1/4 miles = 14.70
mph = 94.5 mph

motor: 91 ls block, pr3 pistons, pr3 oil pump, b16 head, type R intake cams, b16 exhaust cam, skunk 2 manifold, header
trans: y21 jdm b16 with stock clutch for now


Del sol weigh in at 2440 w/o driver and untune...

1994 dohc vtec,
STOCK with only KN filter,
running on 17s volks gramlights

r/t=1.032
60'=2.38
1/4=15.503
MPH=89.01

u think i can do 14.9 with 15in rims?

im not sure on a 14.9 but itd be pretty close.

From past experience, when I went from 17 inches rim down to 15 inches rims, I pick up about .2 to .3 tenth...with 89 mph trap speed and a good 60' with 15 inches rim, I can see you hitting like 15.1 or 15.2...

once we getta clutch will run the sol. right now the clutch thats in it weve been pampering since its from 94 and theres a pretty decent increase in power over stock form.

yeah time to ditch the 18's and tune that **** a little better are you using any kind of management system?

Yeah, I was using the EFI systems PMS. It's kinda old, and does ok for only 9psi. In the future though, I will get the AEM computer. I just don't need that kind of set-up at the moment

yeah gotcha aem's are sucha ***** to tune though. you would seriously want some dyno time. what about going with hondata? they got some pretty slamming new systems out.

i have the same clutch that came with that car, how is it that when u change to a new cluth that it will give u more power? that it does not slip like the used/stock ones?
