Default Rubbing question?

Im wanting to have the tire just a quarter under the fender in the rear and the front without any rubbing. I have 205/45/16 +40 offset. Ive heard about bending the inner wheel well area in the front so ill try that. The rea on the other hand has the rubber piece that covers the plastic flat piece that goes around the whole round area of the inside wheel well. If i cut that whole piece which would involve taking off that plastic piece then im still thinking i may need to cut more.

What is the more common way of cutting that area in the rear? I know my wheel isnt hitting the top of the inside of the wheel well and its only rubbing the outside area of the inner fender.

BTW I have perfect camber all around so maybee if i go a little negative then im sure it will work but if i do that then the tires wont last long. You tell me

You could adjust the camber a little bit and not notice enough of a negative impact on the tires to really care.

That's what I'd suggest before you start hacking up your car.

I'm not one for cutting body panels, or rolling fenders.
Raise the car or adjust the camber so it fits.
You can see how low my car is -- and I never rub.
*shrug*.

I've got like less than 1 finger of gap in the rear, and 1 finger of gap in the front.
That's low enough (as far as i'm concerned) and I don't rub.
Even with a fat hoe in the car
er wait, I never have fat hoes in my car.

But you get the point

I have half a skinny finger gap in the rear and 1 full skinny finger gap in the front. Since my tires are round at the top i was hoppping to cover that part.

Antarius do you have anmy close up shots of your integra?

Do NOT cut your fenders... that will just inhibit rust... you can, however, remove the rubber piece, then roll the fender up to avoid rubbing. Don't forget to slide the rubber piece back on.
Having too much of a negative camber might not be good.
