I got 20 lugs for $65.

not talkign ****.. im seriously interested in why YOU chose them

Well I wasn't crazy enough to spend the price on Mugen (cheapest I saw was $85-95). But I wanted to shed some weight off the wheels since I will be going with SSR Comps next year with BFG g-force TA KD tires. I was also thinking of getting extended studs for wider race wheels and tires OR using larger spacers for my SSRs.

Wouldn't it be better to just loose a couple pounds? Seriously, how much weight are they saving you? Maybe a pound all around?

Seriously when you start racing you will understand. If you don't want them don't get them. I'm just trying to help some people out.

I'm just curious? Is that all they are for is weight savings, or do you need them for wider wheels?

rotating weight is way different than sprung weight. the weight in his gut is not as important as every little ounce he gets off his spinning wheels.

notice, for instance, not only is it "heavy" in terms of gravity, but it also has mass in terms of centrifugal weight, (can i say that?), that is to say, that every time it goes up and down it takes work, it takes work to lift a stud against gravity.

Should be centripetal or rotational mass, but yeah.

weve discussed this before, i dont think centripetal technically exists.
