ok this is all news to me. my friend told me that it was connected and it made sense cause after every oil change, the shifter seemed smoother. so next question, where is the fill bolt?

you DA man! lol wait let me print it out and turn it and laminated it and stick it to the bottom of the car

ok so lets just say i needed to fill it. how do i fill it? cause won't the holes point out not up? do i just shove in a funnel and tube? i guess i would eh?

You use a funnel with a long tube. Or, use a pump, and pump the fluid into the fill hole.

this is probably the only time (except for when you're sitting in bumper to bumper traffic) that automatics have an advantage....its much easier to change the tranny fluid.

My manual says to use 10W30 motor oil for the tranny?

Motor oil can usually be a temporary replacement if MTF cannot be found, but should be drained and replaced with MTF at your earliest convenience.

Don't forget the aluminum crush washer from the dealer and also, wipe away the metal shavings from the magnetic drain bolt.

Define: easier. I can do it quicker than you can say, "I'm trying to justify my buy."

trust me...I'm not trying to justify my buy. I would take a stick in a heart beat. I know auto trannys suck in terms of performance...I'll be the first to admit it. I'm just saying that this is one of the few advantages they have over manuals...but manuals are still resoundingly better.
