Default NGK Blue Wire Fit for 96 DX

I just picked up some NGK Blue plug wires used for $15. They were taken off of a 92 Civic DX and were used for about 6 months before I bought them. I checked online before buying and several online stores say that it is the same set of wires for 92-00 for all SOHC motors. I went to put them on my car though and I had to force them to fit, and it really doesn't look like they are designed for my car. Is this normal or should i just shell out the $80 for OEM exact fit?

I always run OEM. They souldn't be 80 bucks either for them. Grand total I bought OEM plug wires for 60 bucks. 14.49 a piece.
