Default Newbie...

Hey guys. I currently own a 1993 Nissan Maxima SE, but I may be getting a red 2000 Civic EX coupe (currently my sisters), in the near future. I already bought a red AEM cai and have done some minor lighting/exterior mods. My question was about wheels. Right now she's still got stockers on it, but I know for a fact that when I get the car, they will be taken off fairly quickly. I really like the SI wheels, but I've been looking around and it seems that they only come in 15's. I was wondering if they come in like maybe 16's. If not, how do you guys think some Enkei RS6 17's would look (silver) or some Konig Rated R's (in white)? I am trying to avoid something too flashy... Thanks for all you help.

How about some Enkie RS5's? Classic five stars. Are you getting rid of the Max? That would be sad, it has a lot of potential.

yea i like the RS5's as well. As far as the Max goes, Im still debating if I'm going to get rid of it or not. Its a real quick car with lots of power. I've always wanted a civic though, growing up and stuff. (even though im only 18 ...but ya know.)

poor choice of words.... intended meaning was.. taking something that works ok (stock steelie) and replaces it with a much larger wheel (17, or 18) that costs way more to put tire on, is heavier, costs a lot more, does not aid in acceleration... in fact HURTS acceleration is silly

i agree on the new civics 16 look pretty good...

so maybe go with 16's in either one of those styles.... Do they make SI wheels in 16's? Thanks again for all the help...

HONESTLY.. go with whatever YOU want... its YOUR car not mine....i PERSONALY would want nothing more than 15's as i gain nothing by addign a 16 + in wheel...if you want 20's then get em.. definately... and truth be known.. you could get 15's that weigh a rediculous amount also.. if you are concerned about performance make sure you inquire about weight and rolling diameter...

BTW no they only make them in 15's

i know...i was just checking different views on the issue. I dont plan on doing anything real exciting to the civic other than some wheels. i dont plan on racing it, because i will probably keep the maxima. I just want to make it look decent...
