98 JDM b18c in a 95 Cx Hatch?
i wanna do this swap soon! and i was wandering what ill have to do in order to get the car running properly! i heard the the harness will be an issue, what will need to be done to get the harness to work?? i also heard the my car being an obd1 and the motor being an obd2 will be an issue also, so basically iam wondering everything ill have to do after the engine is in the car???? any problems that im gonna run into...oh yea i dont have emissions either!!!! Please help me out or give links,,

i also heard that the japenese like to cut hoses and wires insted of just unplugging or pulling them off???
also what other kinds of problems am i gonna run in to with a jdm swap!!!! obd1-2 c'mon i know u guys know!!!

Doh! It's been so long since I've done this swap! If I remember correctly, you'll need an OBDII GS-R harness. Plug it all in. It should plug into your chassis harness. After that, get the OBDI P72. You'll have to rearrange some pins so be sure to get the OBDI and II P72 pinouts. Also, don't forget about exhaust extension. Beings you don't have to smog, just make a really LONG test pipe. And yes, they do like to cut them suckers out of there. Takes less time. Also, be sure to flush out that motor. I've heard they don't change their oil over there. I remember we cracked open a jdm B16 oil pan when we first got the motor and it was NASTY! Oil stained and sludge all over the place.
