i have an auto y8 im on my y8 head, so all i have to do is get a manual tb , plug the holes , and putan iat and the right iacv and it will work?

sounds about right, You are lucky cause u can use the IAT from your car now.

so the auto iat and the manual iat are the same on a y8?

I plugged the holes on the Face of the mounting flange that were for the air injection


For the Y8 the IAT is mounted in the Intake tube.
