with a k-pro tune and the type-R cams I can run on 93 octane and net around 240whp and some serious trq. I am also thinking on Crower custom frankenstein cams that *friends dyno same build* netted him 267whp NA!!!! They are a grip though so this season mite just have to be the regular cams cause I am already pretty deep in the pocket h:

I am gonna do a piece by piece build DIY with pictures. Especially the mod you have to do to use the type-S oil pump on the k24a4 block

The actual build prob won't be done till january/feb and then as you say show the guys at work...well they are the ones who are gonna help me with the swap. I am doing the swap AT WORK!!! w00t. All the parts I have so far were donated by my fellow techs at work, and my dealership mite sponsor the car if they see some serious interest in the techs doing a race team on the side!!!!

So are u going to do the Meziere Electric Water pump?? It comes with fittings that go to a block off plate that cover that big hole in the front of the block. If you are missing bolts let me know, I have a box filled with random K parts from when i broke down my bro blown RSX motor.
