Default civic (swap) help here

i have a 1995 honda civic hatchback it has the stock motor.. i want to make it fast but i want to start with the engine what do yall sugest for me......im new into hondas so i really dont know all the kind of motors honda have, but if yall can explain i will appreciate..thanks!

Sweetie it all depends on how much money you want to spend. Do you want to just do some basic bolt ons on your stock motor or do you really want to swap in a different motor? If youre wanting to swap then there are several different options. Try looking up all these motors to compare them and read about them. D15, D16, B16, B18B, B18C1, B18C5, B20, K20. Those are your most popular swaps.

i do want to swap a new motor because the stock one is a single cam and non v-tech also i dont want to spend that much of money like 1k or 2k but it has to be fast...

fast and cheap do not belong in the same sentence

a swap for any b series is going to be at least $2000. you can boost your current engine for a little under that if you piece together your own kit, but you need lots of research at this point to even attempt this.

how much would you think fast cost????and does any engine needs modifications to the car???

never might i want to keep it street legal and also this is going to be my daily driven car wwhat do you suggest??
