We use that same PPG Epoxy primer at my dad's shop...and it is some good/expensive shit. We use the green 3M masking tape...and it's crazy expensive.

But nice job on the paint. I'm assuming you used PPG paint also? Do you use the DBC Base coats? That's what we use. Nice stuff. Also, what clear did you use?

this might be a stupid question, and by no means am I hating. the rims look great, and you have mad skillz. just looking at the pictures of the original rims wouldn't it be easier to just take them apart and paint them or aren't they pieced together like they appear to be?

yea, the epoxy primer is a little costly, but it works really well and i'm hooked on it.

As far as the paint goes. I use Valspar Paints (maker of House of Kolor) for everything else.

as stated, fake 2 peice wheels. Or i would definatly have pulled them apart.

Hey guys, i finally got some photo's of the wheels on the car now & just wanted to toss those in here with this thread. Some of you may remember when i did these but when i recieved these photo's it just reminded me of how nice these actually came out.
