learn to read man, that's not what I said at all. Show me where I said that it increases at the crank and not to the wheels...

That's exactly right. It doesn't mean that the whp doesn't increase, it means that because the crank hp goes up 20 doesn't mean that the whp will go up 20.... anyone out here will attest to that. DUH! h:

you said it had no bearing.... that means you increase crank by 20, wheel is increased by 0.... 30 to 0, 40 to 0... see what i mean?

No, you're absolutely wrong. When you buy a product, do you want to know how much it increases your crank hp or your whp? If I'm looking to buy a CAI, I don't care that it will increase my crank hp 15 because it doesn't matter. I want to know how much of that hp is going to transfer to the ground thus giving me REAL USABLE hp. Thus, crank hp has no bearing on whp (ACTUAL hp gains).

On a '95 civic, an AEM CAI may increase the crank hp by 20, but only transfer 5 hp to the wheels.

On an '02 RSX, the same AEM CAI may increase 20 hp to the crank as well and transfer 10 hp the the wheels.

Therefore, because both crank hp was increased by 20 it doesn't mean that both whp will increase the same amount - meaning that CRANK HP HAS NO BEARING ON WHP.

Get it now?
