Default Question on Suspension

I have a 99 civic I need new shock and springs...Im buying the car off of my dad and he wont let me lower it until I get it paid off...which wont be until about the end of summer or year...is there anything you guys can suggest?? I would like to lower it w/o him knowing(he doesn't check my car or anything)

yea but its on 16s right now(so its sitting kinda high) so when I lower it if he just looks at my car he will be able to tell its lowered

Get coilovers and keep it at a stock height until you pay it off, then lower it.

my father didnt know i was turboing my car until he came out the garage and see nit torn apart with turbo parts in boxs next to the car.
if ur asking what kind of shocks and spring, ground control coilovers and koni yellows are an excellent combo. if ur looking to go with something a lil less expensive tokico illuminas and springs are a great bang for the buck

save ur money til summer.....
then get urself some quality springs and shocks.
dont be going behind ur dad's back on something as stoopid as this dude.

How are good are skunk2 coilovers?? and what shocks should I put with em??

They are good coilovers, but they are pretty stiff.

I have Tokico Illuminas and I like them. Typically for performance shocks, people go with AGX's, Tokico Illuminas, or Koni Yellows.

So you have Skunk2s with Illuminas??? This is going to be a daily driver so would you suggest me getting these??? Are GCs softer???
