civic keyless entry
has anyone installed a new keyless entry system on a 98 civic with factory power locks and a factory keyless system. my factory keyless system doesn't work and i was gonna upgrade to an after market one. anything i need to know before i try it myself? or should i just get it installed and save the headache. i don't mind the work if it saves me the cash, any tips would be great

If you haven't done this yet, it might just be the battery or the FOB. The keyless receiver in this car (I think) was built into the radio, so if the radio still works, the receiver may too. I have a 97 LX that did NOT come with keyless entry, but I bought a FOB off ebay for $8, programmed it easily, and voila - keyless works.
