Default SRS Light is on

I had a few problems with blowing fuses and I accidentally pulled the fuse for the SRS and now the light wont go off. I replaced the fuse right away and now I cant get the SRS light to go off, anybody know how to get it to go off?

disconnect your battery , touch the 2 terminals together for a few seconds(without the battery), reconnect the terminals to the battery, if it doesn't go away u've got bigger problems!

Just asking, if the SRS light is on that means my airbags and such wont deploy correct? Cause before I had a chance to try the resetting ecu thing, I rear-ended this guy that decided to SLAM on his brakes in front of me. My airbags didn't deploy even though my hood got buckled up, upper core support bent back a good 3-4 inches, both headlights busted, and a hole in my front bumper where it hit and knocked loose his muffler. Guessing that was th reason my airbags didn't deploy?
