Shorting out/Clutch engage switch??
When I try and start my 93 Ex MT, all power is immediately cut out. It is not due to a dead/faulty battery because 1) battery is almost brand new, and 2) I have tried it with jumpers to another vehicle.
I am thinking that it is my clutch engage switch. If it was indeed the switch, would it cause symptoms like that? The engine wont even crank, and all of my lights will be on brightly, and when I depress clutch and turn key, it all shorts out (as in all lights shut Off =D)
Also, I have been sifting through the Civic shop manual on the honda.uk site, wich is pretty awesome . I found the section for troubleshooting the engage switch. basically using an Voltometer. Anyone else done this, or know of an easier way to bypass the Clutch switch.
Thanks,
