Default Motor mounts? [B18C1 / Del Sol Chassis]

Here is a pic of the motor mounts in jrw1818's car.. they are leaking a greasy rusty like fluid all over and onto the hood. I'm assunming its under stress, and we either think the mount is bad, or that there is too much stress on it bcause we took off the power stearing bracket. any ideas of whats wrong? the other side is not doing this..

Moved to Civic / Del Sol / EL... where these threads belong.

Also, use manual focus.. the mount is a blurry mess.

mount is blown. They are liquid filled for dampening...I would suggest getting a new mount there....the best route at least the route I went would be to replace it with a HASport mount.

Your reasoning is flawed.

Your mount issue has to deal with the Del Sol chassis, not an Integra.
By your logic, an H-22 powered Integra would be "entitled" to post in the Prelude forum. Clearly, that isn't the case.

It's nothing personal. We're here to preserve order, that's why I moved your thread. And while swapped cars like yours are a great asset to the hobby, we can't let the model forums get blurred together.

It's just that simple.

well next time ill take a better picture. lol but it makes sense with the del sol chassis.. i just thought with a gsr motor it would go along with integra.. but i was wrong it makes sense now.

and why exactly did it "blow"? is that common for those mounts to blow?

if he gets new mounts should we put the power stearing bracket back on? it looks like it would reduce some stress on the motor, but we took it off because it was pretty heavy and we didnt think it was neccasary..
