Default lightest civic?
ok what is the lightest 5th and 6th gen civic hatch?

and i know this may sound stupid but does it say "vtec" on the valve cover of a 95 si? h:

im not sure if they started to put the VTEC on the valve cover..92-93 they didnt....and the lightest is the 92 VX.

correction, the 92 vx is second lightest out of all the models. The lightest would be the 92 cx civic. Less weight. Check the chassis specs. Also, the cx comes with a sunroof and the vx doesn't. What a plus!

check it again...vx in 92 is lighter by 14lbs...so says other members up on here

only the Sis do
actually from the "facts" at cars.com...the vx and cx wiegh the same 2,094 lbs

Actually they were the same weight until 1994.

ACTUALLY, the cx does have a sunroof. My friend has a cx hatchback with a sunroof. It comes stock with one. Check honda's feature page. The cx and si's are the only ones with a sunroof. Trust me my friend has one. No its not an si, and no its not a custom installed roof.
