Good as in quality, or good as in copying the design?

Quality issues...read my post above. Design wise, the Rota's are identical to the Mugens more than the Z.speed Tuners were.

z.speed

mugen

rota

tenzo

as you can see.... design goes Mugen, Rota, Z.speed, Tenzo if you want to compare looks.

JDM and JDM style is popular on the internet and magazines. I rarely see a nice JDM or JDM styled car on the road more than I see your local APC Pep Boys special every day on the road.

Somehow I find that very hard to believe.

Just having the rims, or just having amber corners dont make you a "JDM" enthusiast. Hell, I dont even consider myself "JDM". You mean to tell me on socal daily roads you see full EK9, EF9, EG8/9 etc etc. conversions every day on you commute. Please take some pictures to make me believe this.

Accords with amber front bumper lense, or carbon fiber hood on cars and people think its JDM. Most are JDM wannabes.

My point exactly. How many times do you see that Type R or any integra with a full conversion daily on daily roads. Not often.

How many times do you see CF hoods, altezza lights, bondoed out kits, sticker power, amber corners, aluminum wings etc. etc. Almost every freaking day.

JDM and JDM style is not about just having a CF hood and amber corners rolling on stock blackies.

Rotas are great rims. They are lightweight and cheap for those of us who don't have the money (or wouldn't anyway) to spend $2000 on just a set of rims, considering my car isn't even worth $2000! I have had my Slipsteams for a few months and I have had no problems with them and I have hit potholes and ran off the road and all kinds of ****.
