There's a place that sells racing fuel about 5 miles from teh track. If you turn right on Williamsburg Road (Route 60) and head towards Richmond instead of towards Williamsburg, it will be on the LEFT hand side right before Charles City Road, and just after you pass Klockner Rd. It's called "DANCO", looks like a POS ghetto convenient store/gas station and it's painted red, white & blue.
In order to buy fuel there, you can't dispense it into your car. A) it's illegal, B) the nozzle's too big. You will need a gas can. They sell them for about $18 ea. You will need two cans to do it right because you need to drain your unleaded fuel into something first (at the track) in order to run the CAM2 110 leaded. Yes, they barely mix and without much consequence, but buying race gas isn't worth it unless you can run it full-strength because it makes the tune unpredictable in its diluted state if you can't monitor knock... and your factory gas gauge isn't accurate enought to tell you how many gallons of pump gas you have left in the tank. It will also ruin catalytic converters if that's a problem for you (not for me). Leaded gas can push old o2 sensors over the edge as well. Sux for you Honda guys... mine are only $53.
Danco also has 100 octane unleaded... or at least used to... I ran it once and noticed nothing performance-wise over premium unleaded. I can feel the difference with 110 under boost, though... and the smell... my **** gets _ard just thinking about it. It's like $6.50/gal a month ago. I've paid $10/gal for 116, so that's not so bad.
Come take a whiff, and no humping my car. :P
If you're NA, don't waste your time with race gas, it will make you slower from running too rich. You will not benefit from race gas on a pointed ignition system, you'll probably foul your plugs, and your ECU's long-term fuel trims will not adjust quickly enough to benefit from it on the track after the changeover. Only high-compression engines (>11.5:1 cr) that can't run on pump gas or boosted applications can benefit from it. If your car runs great on pump gas, stick with that. No excuses.
Some of you [your expletive here] just learned something. :P
