i tried taking "JDM gas station pics" last night and they turned out like crap. i had the flash on, could that be why? anybody find out what settings are the best for this? CivicDXR, what settings did you use? flash or no?

wow, thought this post was long gone... but its back now

anyways, I drove around town one night scouting the brightest lit gas station (the one I used had only been up about a month or so at the time)... turned off the flash, used a normal daytime setting, and tried to stay very still (which by the looks of my first pic, wasn't too easy)... I'm not completely trained on my camera yet (Sony DSC-S50) to try and use the custom settings, but they turned out fairly well... next investment is gonna be a tripod cause I borrowed a buddys for a night shoot and pics turned out 10X better... hope that helps you a bit.

BTW, its been a while since i've looked at this post and just wanted to thank everyone for their comments... my car does have a wing now, and has different wheels, but I would never let go of those SSR, so they went on my brothers DA... I'll probably never let those wheels go...
