Default Good news and bad news

Well lets start with the good stuff, Yesterday was a big day. Installed the new AVC-R boost controller, and 3 bar map sensor AND got some tuning done for 10 psi. The AVC-R is truly amazing, but its gonna take a little while before i get a grasp on all of its features. The car feels awsome at 10 psi, and the turbo was spooling pretty damn well considering its still pushing through the stock cat. Tuning went pretty well, that is untill a little stop at Lowes. Went inside to grab a 10mm wrench to fix a blown coupler, and came out and fixed. As we were leaving the parking lot i heard a ticking coming from the motor, and i drove i noticed it was alot more then normal valve ticking. So i get it home and start listening around only to come to the conclusion that the noise is coming from the block. The diagnosis right now is possibly a spun bearing. Not to big an issue as ive got the internals on there way anyways. SO while them motor is pulled and built ill be rocking my brothers fiances neon, which is definently better then trying to bum a ride every day. Well here are some pics of the AVC-R

That AVC-R looks Pimp.
You gonna paint or powder coat the block while you have it pulled? It just seems to make everything look nicer.

edit: I'd probably rather bum a ride than rock a neon :chuckles: shades and a hat may be required.

I plan on do it to mine. I figure heck while it's out spend a couple extra bucks to make it look good.

Have any of you guys used neptune? I would highly recommend it. It has so many features, Anti-lag(Build Boost before launch), 2 step rev limiter, Able to tune it wireless and many others. It is a really good ems. To set the rev limiter for launch is cool as hell. Puch on the gas a little until you get to the desired rpm then push it to the floor and it will stay there. I have seen people ditch the hondata for it.

Atleast your turbo didn't blow up on the highway! Good thing you got those internals coming!

It is good and all except for the fact that you have to go out of your way to find an authorized Neptune tuner. There is no end user tunability....at least not yet.
