Hi all,

I am about to take the cylinder head out to replace the head gasket on a d16y8. When you take the head to the machine shop for resurfacing, do you take the whole head with all the valves? Also, the head bolts need to be replaced with new as well?

How much does this head resurfacing usually cost?

I take it overheated and now the head is warped.......take the whole head in, and they'll do what they do.
