need help over-heating puzzle....
alright here it is i've got an ek hatch gsr it overheats with-in about 5 mins or less and i've ran out of ideas i've check the hose's and had them compared to similiar car... no leaks there all hook up right....i've replaced the temp. sensor and guage, problem doesnt change the water pump is fairly new but the the motor was just rebuilt nor does it make any failing noises or leakage...and the thermostat was just replace and i have no oil or water mixture i thought it was the head gasket twice so i replaced it with a factory gasket both times and it wasn't put upside down either or tourqued wrong and the car has never been over 205 degrees the block doesnt get as hot as the head and water gets into the head but not as much as it should it doesnt seem to be circulating in the head it seems to just run right out the intake maifold outlet and the bleed by the top rad. hose on the head can be open and no water will come out....and when it says its overheating the water still feels cool to the touch any ideas?? i've asked shops and they've told me this seems impossible.... o and the radiator flows quick and fine... so any ideas or lost cause? could it be the pump again?

Just saw the answer, we typed at the same time, hehe. I'm totaly clueless at this point, but you can check the cat. It might be the time to replace it, and it can give the wrong info to the ecu and screw some shit there. Just throwing some ideas out. Try any Honda stealership, they might be willing to do a free code look up for you.

thanks man i'll try that, it's funny u say that though cause when i put the motor together i reused the same spark plugs and didnt keep them in order i didnt think it would of mattered that much i'll check the timing too...
